How to Get Tensa Zangetsu in Lineage Piece (Bankai Questline)

Step 1: Zangetsu

Buy Zangetsu (Epic) from the Ichigo NPC: 500K coins & 1K gems. No materials — the cheapest step you’ll see today.

Step 2: The Questline

The Tensa Zangetsu NPC requires:

  1. Own Zangetsu.
  2. Kill Ichigo (Bankai) 50 times — the Lv.4000 mob on Hueco Mundo.
  3. Final purchase: 1 Hollow Mask + 600K coins & 2K gems.

The catch is the Hollow Mask: a 0.1% drop from Ichigo (Bankai). Fifty required kills won’t usually produce it — expect several hundred more. He also drops the Substitute Shinigami title at 0.1% and Tainted Soul Pills.

The Mastery (the real payoff)

Tensa’s R mastery move adds +40% Tensa Zangetsu damage. The chain: equip the Substitute Shinigami title, be Shinigami race (Legendary 1% roll), kill 150 Hollows, defeat Ichigo (Bankai) 30 more times.

Where It Fits

A Legendary bridge weapon — good damage-per-cost on the way to Mythicals (tier list), and the Hollow farm doubles as Slime Orb income (Hollows drop those at 1%).
