Lineage Piece Cid's Castle: Key Farm, Quest & Dungeon Drops

Step 1: Cid’s Quest

Cid stands in Dawnwind Village and charges 150K coins & 600 gems to start. Two objectives:

  1. Find 2 Crowbars — ground pickups around the village (exact zones).
  2. Take 5M damage — stand in a low-level mob pack and let them chip you.

Reward: the Stylish Bandit Slayer blade (Uncommon) — required later for the Shadow questline.

Step 2: Key Farm

Completing the quest flips the drop table: Cid’s Keys now drop from Bandits in Dawnwind Village at 0.5%. You can also buy keys from the Tower Shop for 8 Tower Shards each — usually faster once you run Tower daily.

Step 3: The Dungeon

A Cid’s Key opens Cid’s Castle (difficulties up to Extreme). The drop table:

  • Shadow Orb — 12%
  • Shadow Fragment — 6%
  • Black Slime — 5% (from any mob inside the dungeon)
  • Atomic Core — 2%
  • The Eminence in Shadow title — 2%
  • Shadow’s Outfit — 1%

Why It Matters

Cid’s Castle is the Shadow farm: the Shadow weapon purchase needs 100 Black Slime, 6 Shadow Fragments, 12 Shadow Orbs and 2 Atomic Cores — all sourced here — and the Shadow questline itself demands 5 castle clears (Medium/Hard/Extreme) plus 15 more for the Mastery chain later.
